Cold War players call for fix to “broken” Napalm Strike scorestreak
One of CoD: Cold War's key scorestreaks is currently broken as the Napalm Strike isn't landing on its designated target in Season 3.
LMGs are often cast to one side when people look for a dominant weapon in Black Ops Cold War, but we’ve created the perfect class to make the Stoner 63 one of CoD: Season 3’s best guns.
If you’re someone who is perhaps a bit more reserved when it comes to running around a Call of Duty map like a headless chicken, then an LMG could be for you. They hold extraordinary amounts of ammo, usually pack a mean punch, and have top range.
Black Ops Cold War Season 3 has seen gamers gravitate towards new evils like the PPSH-41, yet sleeping giants like the Stoner 63 are waiting to become meta.
Here’s how to make an awesome Stoner 63 LMG class in Cold War Season 3.
Best Stoner 63 attachments for Cold War Season 3
We really want to maximize the Stoner 63’s killing potential, so you’re going to need the Gunfighter Wildcard equipped to do this.
- Optic: Hawksmoor
- Muzzle: Muzzle Brake 5.56
- Barrel: 21.8″ Task Force
- Body: Steady Aim Laser
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
- Magazine: Fast Mag
- Handle: Serpent Wrap
- Stock: Raider Pad
For the Stoner 63, we start off with the very wide Hawksmoor optic, offering us a big, clear view of our surroundings even whilst ADS. The Muzzle Brake 5.56 also reduces vertical recoil at no expense.
The 21.8″ Task Force barrel takes things up several notches by doubling the weapon’s range, bullet velocity, and increasing its damage. The Steady Aim Laser increases hip-fire accuracy with no drawbacks and the trusty Field Agent Grip ignores a lot of the LMG’s tendency to recoil in every direction.
The Fast Mag is a no-brainer as LMGs are notoriously slow for reloading and we don’t want to exacerbate this any more than we need to.
To finish things off, we have opted for the Serpent Wrap as it offers a welcome ADS boost and the Raider Pad because this greatly improves the weapon’s mobility and speed.
Best perks to run with the Stoner 63 in Cold War Season 3
- Perk 1: Flak Jacket
- Perk 2: Scavenger
- Perk 3: Ghost
The Stoner 63 will need you to keep your distance a bit more, meaning you’ll be peppered with explosives, which Flak Jacket revels in protecting you against.
Scavenger makes up for the ammo reduction caused by our loadout, and Ghost is to shield your presence as you continuously unload round after round into the map.
