Turkish superteam goes official as Eternal Fire; includes XANTARES, WOXIC and ISSAA
Four Turkish players and ISSAA have come together to form Eternal Fire. Can this team live up to expectations?
Some of the best talent from Turkish CS:GO has come together to form a new team. Featuring players such as Özgür “woxic” Eker, Ismailcan “XANTARES” Dörtkardeş and Issa “ISSAA” Murad, Eternal Fire could be a real challenger in the international scene.
Eternal Fire is a player-founded organization with four Turkish players. The plan is to communicate in Turkish, but for the short term, the players will be using English in their comms. ISSAA will take Turkish lessons as he prepares for his new team.

WOXIC announced his intention to create a 5-man roster earlier this year in June. Some of the players were still under contracts, but have since been released from their respective teams. Earlier today, BIG announced it was releasing XANTARES, who wanted to play in a Turkish Superteam. ImoRR and ISSAA also parted ways with Sangal and OG to play in Eternal Fire.
Players on this new organization have been explosive and MVPs on some of their previous teams. It will be interesting to see if this team can live up to its potential and challenge some of the top CS:GO teams in the process.
Eternal Fire roster is as follows:
- Özgür ‘woxic’ Eker.
- Ismailcan ‘XANTARES’ Dörtkardeş.
- Buğra ‘Calyx’ Arkın.
- Ömer ‘imoRR’ Karataş.
- Issa ‘ISSAA”’ Murad.
